Ministries of Education across the Caribbean and the Pacific now have a dedicated resource to support stronger, safer, and more sustainable schools, following the launch of two climate smart help desks – one supporting Caribbean countries, and one focused on the Pacific.

The Caribbean Climate Smart Schools Helpdesk provides targeted technical assistance to help Ministries of Education in Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The Pacific Climate Smart Schools Helpdesk covers all Pacific Small Island Developing States. Both helpdesks design and deliver resilient, inclusive and climate-smart education infrastructure. They cover a range of services including design principles briefings, reference materials, environmental analysis and field data collection.

Both helpdesks are now fully operational and ready to receive requests.
