The Climate-Smart Education Systems Initiative brochure provides a clear overview of the initiative, funded by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) in collaboration with Save the Children, UNESCO and IIEP‑UNESCO. The Initiative supports governments to strengthen the resilience of education systems in the face of climate change, with a focus on safeguarding access to quality learning for the most vulnerable children.

Drawing on work across 35 climate‑exposed countries and territories, the brochure outlines why education is central to climate change adaptation and describes the Initiative’s seven technical components. It also highlights practical country examples and early results.
